WHO and UNICEF publish 2026 health-care facility services report
Environmental cleaning and waste management provide a starting point for reviewing system interfaces in waste facilities.
Report update
WHO and UNICEF published their 2015–2025 facility-services report on 18 August 2026. It covers water, sanitation, environmental cleaning and waste management, drawing attention to coordination across these services.
Shentian perspective: define the process before equipment interfaces
For medical waste facilities, equipment selection should follow a clear definition of logistics and process boundaries. A project discussion can first map vehicle movements, container storage, feeding and washing, then establish the space, cadence and control interfaces required at each stage.
This is Shentian’s engineering interpretation of integration requirements, not an endorsement of a brand or product by the report. Automation does not replace site management, staff training or project acceptance.
